Walking on Water: Book Review

Walking on Water: Reflections on Faith and Art by Madeleine L’Engle was an intriguing read for me.  I do not agree with everything L’Engle believes theologically but I found her thoughts and connections between faith and art to be thought provoking. That is exactly what I want in a book- not to be told everything I already think but to be told about someone else’s thoughts and challenged to evaluate my own.

I also like that she delves into a topic rarely examined in the church- the artist! Worship can be so much more than singing songs and listening to a speaker!

Overall I would reccomend this book to my Christian artist friends.

{I was given this book by bloggingforbooks.com in exchange for this review. All thoughts are entirely my own.}
